Movie Review: Happy Go Lucky

Finished watching Happy-go-lucky last night. I had seen a preview for this film at the Bookshelf a month ago and thought it looked interesting. However, the main character is ultimately annoying to watch on screen. The unshakable smile and happiness the main character carries with her at all time, which at first is sweet, becomes grating before too long and comes across as unbelievable. It is almost painful to watch at times because it is far too unrealistic. The character is simply too one dimensional at times. The final 20 minutes of the film are actually where the movie becomes far more real and provides a lot interesting emotion and dialogue however by then the damage has been done. I say pass on this one.
