Ok HP fans and fans of my ramblings this post is for you.

I saw the newest movie last week and the first movie again this week and have some geniuine concerns about the plot and storyline.

First.

Slytherin house. It it not obvious that everyone in this house is evil by now? Why even have a house made up of entirely evil kids. It’s like they decided to make a house to allow all the evil kids to hang out together and discusss their evil stuff and in private while they all practice being evil. Then they said, “Hey, lets put that creepy dude with the long shiney hair in charge, he looks evil.”

If that sorting hat assigns a kid to slytherin I say expel them from the school or put them in jail. How hard is this to figure out?

Second.

What is the deal with the forbidden section of the library? Do you think the oldest wisest wizards got together and the conversation went something like,

“Hey we have all these forbidden evil books of doom, what should we do with them?”

“Oh wait I know lets put them into a school for children right next to the non-forbidden books and make them easily accessible but give them a really sexy and tempting name like FORBIDDEN!”

“What a great idea! I know lets put the forbidden section right next to those dark creepy kids in slytherin! Nothing bad can come of that I bet.”

Third.

Why does quidditch have referees flying around on broom sticks? In the movies there are kids falling down hundreds of feet and being knocked unconcious, while other kids body check smaller kids in mid-air. What exactly are these refs doing besides being creepy. There don’t seem to be any rules that need refs. If the refs are there why arn’t they helping these children at all?

I will be sure to post more inciteful comments as I continue to watch the rest of the movies.
